Chrysanthemums are easy to grow in any well-drained soil and
full sun. They can be fertilized up to 3 times during the
growing season, and should be pinched back several times
before the fourth of July to maintain a shorter, more
compact habit. Pinching plants back too late will result in
fewer flowers for fall display. Divide every 3 years to
maintain vigor. For easier care fertilize just once after
the last frost
your Chrysanthemums might not need to be divided for 5 to 10
years. |
