what does this warranty cover?

It covers woody landscape plants from Commonwealth Nurseries when purchased and installed by  us.

Woody landscape plants are those plants that produce woody stems and trunks that persist above
ground from year-to-year in climatic zones where they are hardy. This coverage relates to one of our many growers.

How long does the coverage last and when is it in effect?

It lasts for one year from the purchase date.

what will Commonwealth Nurseries Do?

  Commonwealth Nurseries will replace free of charge any woody landscape plant found defective
  within the terms and conditions of this warranty.

what does this warranty not cover?

Plants that do not survive due to failure to provide normally accepted horticultural planting care and maintenance.

Transportation, labor, and other consequential and incidental costs or damages.

Certain plants — including all those in the genera xCupressocyparis, Pinus, Quercus, and Tsuga — are NOT covered by this warranty.

In addition, some specific plants are excluded from this warranty due to hardiness considerations in particular market areas

This warranty is NOT in effect for plant material purchased and installed during the winter months. 

what additional conditions apply?

Liability is limited to the replacement of plants with a comparable plant or with plants of equivalent value.

This warranty is limited to a one-time replacement.

This warranty is subject to payment of the original invoice being made within the terms of sale and account being current.

How will your claim be handled?

We will contact the grower in your behalf .

How does state law apply?

Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion or limitation of
 incidental or consequential damages so the above limitations orexclusions may not apply.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights; you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
