Perennial Pleasure plants, and wholesome harvests reaps.
Amos Bronson Alcott - Tablets (1868)
"This garden intends to charm with its poetry and imagery, achieving
an effect which stems from, but surpasses nature. A place for tranquil relaxation as well
as visual stimulation. .A garden not based solely on color, but on form and textural
contrasts. The design is influenced somewhat by Japanese gardens. Gertrude Jekyll (1842
-1932) and past tours with the American Conifer Society."
