All of our containers, except for gallons, are grown and shipped in the 10-20 flat
system. Our shipping boxes are specially made for this system.
Most of our plants can be packaged three flats per box. Some require more space because
of longer foliage and must be packed two flats per box. Shorter plants such as Dwarf Mondo
Grass can be packed four flats per box.
One 10-20 flat holds:
- 6 - 6" pots
- 18 - 4" pots
- 36 - 2 1/4" pots
- 72 cells (72/cell pack)
We carefully wrap each flat with newsprint and/or special netting before packing to
help protect plants during transit. For best results, immediately unpack and water the
plants if needed. add $2.25 per box for packing
